Prairie Creek — Perrin Lansing Chapter members and local landowners obtained a grant to TU’s Embrace a Stream program to focus on log jam removal, installation of 20 instream habitat structures, tree and shrub plantings, and improvement of one mile of trail for angler access. More…

Guide’s Rest, AuSable River — Members of the Perrin Lansing Chapter TU completed installation of 15 6-ft cages to protect the maturing northern white cedars planted on the main branch of the Au Sable River at Guide’s Rest. On Saturday, June 29, 2019; twenty previously installed cages were removed completely to allow the growing cedars to continue to grow without the need of protection from browsing deer. More…
